18th Annual Nevada State Conference on Problem Gambling

The 18th Annual Nevada State Conference on Problem Gambling is a premier professional education event dedicated to addressing the impact of problem gambling on individuals and communities in Nevada. Scheduled for 12–13 June 2025 at the Suncoast Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, this two-day conference brings together a diverse group of experts and stakeholders to foster awareness, enhance education, and facilitate professional networking.

Participants will include addiction and mental health service providers, educators, researchers, public policy makers, gaming industry professionals, and members of the recovery community. The conference aims to provide a platform for sharing insights, exchanging expertise, and discussing strategies to mitigate the effects of problem gambling.

  • Educational Sessions: Attendees will learn from local and national experts through a series of informative sessions covering various aspects of problem gambling.
  • Networking Opportunities: Frequent networking and refreshment breaks are scheduled to encourage the sharing of ideas and interaction with community resources.
  • Continuing Education Units (CEUs): Participants can earn up to 12 CEUs. The Nevada Council on Problem Gambling is an approved Continuing Education Provider for the Nevada Board of Examiners for Alcohol, Drug and Gambling Counselors and the International Gambling Counselor Certification Board. Applications are also made to other Nevada Professional Boards.
