The Role of Compliance Manager (Digital E-commerce)

The Compliance Manager (Digital Ecommerce) plays a crucial role in providing compliance support and guidance to the Multinational Commerce (MNC) team, specifically for one of Global Payments' largest digital ecommerce customers. The primary objective is to ensure that all activities align with Global Payments' risk appetite and contribute to mitigating potential risks for the organization.

The key responsibilities of the Compliance Manager include:

1. Due Diligence and Reviews: Collaborate with the MNC team to conduct annual due diligence visits for the digital e-commerce customer. Additionally, complete quarterly reviews for digital e-commerce customers operating in high-risk sectors identified by Global Payments.

2. Feedback and Monitoring: Provide constructive feedback to the MNC team based on findings from quarterly and annual reviews. Monitor all digital e-commerce activities to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

3. Management Information (MI) Pack: Develop a monthly MI pack showcasing all compliance activities related to digital e-commerce customers.

4. Regulatory Updates: Maintain the High-Risk Expectations document, staying up-to-date with any regulatory changes that may impact digital e-commerce operations. Prepare compliance updates for relevant governance committees and the GPUK Board.

5. Consultation and Governance: Attend regular meetings with the MNC team and other business stakeholders to address digital e-commerce matters. Offer consultancy on new digital e-commerce propositions from a regulatory compliance perspective.

About the Ideal Candidate

- At least one year of experience in AML compliance, with exposure to high-risk sectors such as gambling and cryptocurrency (preferred but not mandatory).
