About the Role

As a Compliance Manager at Casumo, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the business through all aspects of regulatory compliance, with a focus on Casumo's licenses across various jurisdictions, including the UK, Malta, Spain, Sweden, Gibraltar, and Ontario. We're constantly expanding our horizons, and you will collaborate across teams, serving as the go-to resource for regulatory compliance matters in our target markets.

Key Responsibilities

- Advise the business on compliance with current licenses and any future locally regulated licenses.
- Support group licensing initiatives.
- Collaborate with Operational Compliance teams to ensure processes and procedures are compliant and up to date.
- Provide ongoing support to internal and external stakeholders on compliance and regulatory matters.
- Stay informed about regulatory changes, identifying and implementing necessary adjustments within the organization.
- Monitor advertising standards, responsible gambling practices, AML, and consumer protection laws.
- Identify and manage potential risks, developing mitigation strategies.
- Participate in training, seminars, and consultations with regulators and industry associations.
- Collect data for regulatory reporting and other business requirements.
- Coordinate with other teams to maintain compliance and regulatory processes.
- Develop a strategic compliance plan, including policy and procedure drafting and compliance monitoring activities.
- Assist with additional projects or responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

- 3-5 years of regulatory compliance experience, with a strong background in working with regulatory bodies, especially the MGA and UKGC.
- Profound understanding of AML, RG concepts, and other compliance-related regulations, including local marketing laws.
- Ability to interpret and apply legislation relevant to the licensed business and its industry impact.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in other relevant languages is a plus.
