About the Role:
The purpose of the Compliance Manager (Digital e-commerce) role is to provide compliance support and guidance to the Multinational Commerce (MNC) team in support of one of our largest digital e-commerce customers. The role will ensure all activity is in line with Global Payments' risk appetite and help mitigate risks for Global Payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct periodic 2nd line monitoring reviews for regulatory compliance of our digital e-commerce customers within the high-risk sectors identified by Global Payments, including the non-high-risk sectors, ensuring they comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Work with the MNC team to complete the annual due diligence visit of our digital e-commerce customer.
- Provide feedback to the MNC team on any findings identified throughout the 2nd line monitoring reviews or annual reviews.
- Create and maintain a monthly Management Information (MI) pack showing all compliance activity for digital e-commerce customers.
- Maintain policies, keeping them up to date with any regulatory changes. Attend regular meetings with the MNC team and the wider business on all digital e-commerce matters.
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant regulatory changes and recommend improvements where required for new and existing products.
- Prepare a digital e-commerce Compliance update for the relevant governance committees and GPUK Board.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in AML compliance.
- Experience in high-risk sectors such as gambling and cryptocurrency is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Internal audit/compliance monitoring experience would be advantageous.
- Sound reasoning and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
- Demonstrate the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behavior.
- Attention to detail.
- Proven excellent IT literacy skills.
- Financial/Regulatory compliance-related qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
