Role Overview:

As the Head of Safer Gambling at DAZNBET, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our customers. Reporting to the Director of Customer Operations, you will lead and manage the Safer Gambling function, equipping customers with the necessary tools and support to manage their accounts responsibly. Your focus will encompass the proactive identification of at-risk customers and the seamless implementation of automated tools and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the implementation of player safety procedures across all territories and market regulations.
• Lead a team of agents responsible for handling complex customer interactions and internal escalations, ensuring top-notch customer support.
• Develop and manage an effective team roster to maintain player safety 24/7 across all regions.
• Collaborate with KYC, AML, Fraud & Payments teams to maintain a robust compliance management approach.
• Optimize department processes for efficiency, compliance, and effectiveness.
• Continuously streamline processes, leveraging available technology.
• Optimize department technology to ensure regulatory compliance and provide customers with the right tools.
• Actively participate in the development of safer gambling product roadmaps, leveraging cutting-edge technologies.
• Manage complaints and associated resolution and reporting procedures within SLAs.
• Provide leadership and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
• Promote communication and collaboration across the organization, building strong cross-functional relationships.
• Implement tight KPIs to prioritize customer safety while upholding strict compliance.
• Support operational compliance by contributing to new policies and facilitating their rollout.

Specialist Skills and Experience Required:

• Previous experience leading Safer Gambling teams in a Tier 1 betting & gaming operator.
• Strong understanding of responsible gambling processes, behavioral analytics, and industry standards.
• Experience dealing with AML, Gambling Licensing, Data security compliance, and regulatory authorities.
• Proficiency in analyzing and presenting complex data to support compliance and business objectives.
• Ability to apply policy directives effectively in practice.
• Proven experience in directing initiatives and programs, and working with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Track record of effective communication, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to promote the company's safer gambling policy effectively.
